When Is Cancer Hereditary? Genetic Testing Can Help Guide Targeted Prevention
Cancer diagnosed at an unusually young age, multiple cases of cancer within a family or certain specific diagnoses can all be important warning signs of an inherited cancer predisposition. However, it can provide valuable information that enables personalised prevention, closer monitoring and, where necessary, more effective treatment.
